Tigerlily

I went to WisCon the weekend before this one! I have a few write-ups, though most of the experience exists as livetweets and retweets on twitter. Still I'd like to have something up here, so I'll try to do that this week. I have a few pictures too, to be uploaded later from my phone.

As usual, I'm reading several books at once. Trying to focus on Finding My Elegy, which is a collection of Ursula K. Le Guin poems, and The Secret Diary of Laura Palmer by Jennifer Lynch. I got that last one because a friend said they found a similarity, with the talk of destiny and agency and early suffering (to summarize to the best of my memory, this was like a month ago or more), between Laura Palmer and Daenerys Targaryen, as a result of reading the diary at the same time as she reread Game of Thrones. I was show-only, though I have the book, but the comparison was very interesting and I think I can see it too.

I'm going to get my stomach looked at with an endoscopy late this month. ;;

On a fandom note...I have so much to do.
